Parent Teachers Meet, 2022 by Dept. of Commerce. JDSG College, Bokakhat on 27^th June, 2022

The parent Teacher meet 2022 was organised by the department of Commerce on 27^th June, 2022 at 11 am. Mr. Motiram Das, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Commerce initiated the meeting with a welcome speech. Mr. Das requested Mr. Atul Bezbaruah, HOD, Dept. of Commerce to chair the meeting as President. Mr. Atul Bezbaruah accepted the request and continued the meeting with the agenda.

`Beginning with the introduction of all the faculties of the Department, Mr. Bezbaruah thanked every parent of the students for being present in the meeting. After that Mrs. Dipali Rajkumari, Vice-Principal & Associate Professor delivered a valuable speech to the audience. Thanking the vice Principal, Mr. Bezbaruah proceeded to his next agenda with the remembrance of Late. Munin Chandra Phukan and his great contribution towards making the department of Commerce a healthy department and shared about the unique policy making of Late. Following the agenda, Mr. Deepjyoti Das, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Commerce presented various relevant data relating to the Department in front of the parents. Mr. Das showed the period of teaching (months), No. of classes taken, students attendance percentage, percentage of course completion very clearly in his presentation. Since the statistical presentation was very transparent, every parent interacted and verified their son’s or daughter’s performance. Every parent got the chance to clear their doubts and praised the initiative of this triangle interactive meet among parent-teachers and students. In the meantime, a Whatsapp group was created to have a better communication between parents and teachers.

After the fruitful interaction, honourable Principal, Dr. Jayanta Gogoi delivered a significant speech addressing all the parents and teachers. The head of the institution interacted with all the parents and asked one by one about the problems they are facing regarding the college and their children. Thanking the Principal for his laudable devotion towards the College, Mr. Bezbaruah proceeded to the last agenda i.e. vote of thanks by Dr. Anjali Devi, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Commerce. She delivered the vote of thanks on behalf of the Department. Again thanking each and every one, Mr. Bezbaruah concluded the meeting.
