The Community Hall at JDSG College, Bokakhat, is a multi-purpose venue constructed under Article 275 (1) of the Constitution of India. Built by contractor Navadeep Pegu and implemented by APTDC Guwahati, with Tribal Affairs (Plains) Guwahati as the nodal agency, the hall was inaugurated on January 15, 2024. The hall serves as a versatile space for various events, including cultural programs, seminars, workshops, and meetings, accommodating a significant number of people. Equipped with basic amenities like seating arrangements, lighting, and sound systems, wash rooms, dressing room and more it fosters community engagement and social interaction among students, faculty, and local residents, promoting a sense of community and social cohesion.
