Hostel
HOSTEL FACILITIES
The College provides separate hostel facilities for boys and girls to accommodate students from distant areas. The hostels aim to ensure a safe, disciplined, and academically supportive residential environment conducive to holistic development. Both hostels function under the supervision of a Hostel Superintendent/Warden and operate in accordance with the rules and regulations prescribed by the College authority.
Boys’ Hostel
The Boys’ Hostel has a total capacity of 45 seats. Accommodation is provided on a sharing basis (double, triple, and larger shared rooms depending on availability). Room allotment is finalized during the admission process. Hostel fees are collected every semester (six months) as per College norms. The hostel remains closed during summer and winter vacation as per the academic calendar.
Facilities include:
-Two meals per day
-Regulated entry and exit
-Clean and disciplined residential environment
-All boarders are required to strictly adhere to hostel rules and regulations
– Sports activities such badminton, volleyball, cricket etc.
– Dedicated study hours from 6-9 pm
– Regular supervision by the Hostel Superintendent
– Periodic visits by Teacher-in-Charge and male faculty members
Girls’ Hostel
The Girls’ Hostel has a total capacity of 70 seats. Rooms are allotted on a sharing basis (double, triple, and larger shared rooms subject to availability). Allotment is finalized during admission. Hostel fees are collected every semester (six months). The hostel remains closed during summer vacation as per institutional schedule.
Facilities include:
-Two meals per day
-CCTV surveillance for security
-Regular supervision by the Hostel Superintendent
– Periodic visits by Teacher-in-Charge and female faculty members
-Regulated entry and maintenance of visitor records
– Strict restriction on male visitors within hostel premises
– Dedicated study hours from 5.00-8.30 pm
The Girls’ Hostel also promotes co-curricular engagement through hobby-based activities such as sports, crafts, painting, and gardening.
All residents must comply with the prescribed hostel rules and maintain discipline and decorum.
Admission Procedure
Students seeking hostel accommodation must submit a separate hostel application form after general admission. Forms are available from the Office of the Principal and must be submitted within the stipulated time.
Admission is granted based on merit and availability of seats, subject to approval by the Hostel Superintendent in consultation with the College authority.
