Departmental Profile

The department of Assamese,  introduced in 1964,  in the year of establishment of the college. But started honours classes in Assamese for B.A classes  in 1974. At present, the department has 5 faculties. There is a healthy and cordial atmosphere in the department which has deep qualitative impact on teaching-learning process. This department has continuously taking classes in B.A honours, general and Higher secondary   students. As well as from August 2022 department has started  P.G Class under Dibrugarh University in Regular Mood.
